College of Agriculture

College of Agriculture — Take Como-Harriet or Como-Hopkins car line, get off at Carter Ave. and walk about one-half mile northeast. One of the departments of the State University. This department has a separate campus at St. Anthony Park, St. Paul, covering, with the grounds of the state experimental station, about 413 acres, on which are twenty-seven additional buildings. Some of the work is done at the State Experiment Station and some at the University. The school offers a four years’ course for women and men in Agriculture, Agricultural Chemistry, Animal Industry, Dairy Husbandry, Entomology, Home Economics, Horticulture, Forestry, Mathematics, Veterinary Medicine and Surgery. The college grants the degrees of Bachelor of Agriculture, Master of Agriculture, and Doctor of Philosophy. Dean and Director of the department of agriculture, A. F. Woods; Assistant Dean, E. M.
