TO SHOW FURNITURE LARGE EXHIBITION BUILDING TO BE ERECTED AT MIDWAY.
Northwestern furniture and Stove Association Will Construct a Big Structure, Where Retail Merchants of the Country May View Stock Under One Roof.

The new Northwestern Stove Exhibition Building is now fully decided on by the promoters of the enterprise involving the erection of a large structure in Midway, where retail merchants of the country may view furniture stocks under one roof. The use of such a building has been demonstrated in the Twin Cities as well as other cities before this time, so that this venture is no experiment. The new building which is to be three stories tall with a basement is to be located at University and Raymond. It will be 184 by 170 feet, giving 125,000 square feet floor space. The building will be handsome in appearance. and will be fitted inside with all of the modern equipment necessary to make it comfortable tor visitors. It will be splendidly lighted for the purpose of displaying of the furniture. The basement floor contain club rooms for Ladies and gentlemen, which will be luxuriously fitted In every way. The main floor will be devoted to business offices of the Exposition association and private offices of exhibitors. This floor will also contain the quarters of the Midway bank. which will be provided with fire proof vaults. The second and third floors will be devoted to exhibition solely. The new building is to be finished and ready for occupancy May 1st, 1907. It is being built by the Northwestern Furniture & Stove Association. which is composed of the following officers: President. W. H. Gruenhagen; vice president, Fred Joerns; secretary. E. C. Francis; treasurer, C. A. Joerns.
