Gateway Park houses the Gateway Tourist Bureau of the Minneapolis Civic and Commerce Association, where visitors may secure information about points of interest and travel conditions. To the left of the Nicollet Hotel, is Nicollet Avenue, known as the “Fifth Avenue Of the Northwest” where many important mercantile establishments and smart shops are to be found. To the right is Hennepin Avenue, where the theaters and other fine retail stores are located.
